I’ve got the baby album up at last! It’s only in French, but the ultrasound is there, so if you want to have a peek, it’s at bebe.emilieonline.com.

100% accuracy… (?)

The girls at work decided to have some fun and proceeded to do the needle test on Nat and me (and just about everybody other girl). How does that work? Well first you need a needle on a thread. Someone holds the thread – letting the needle dangle down – and brushes it on the side of the hand (palm down) of the subject. The needle shouldn’t touch the skin. You do it about 10 times and up and down, and then you bring up the needle above the back of the hand and hold it steady there – still not touching the skin.

If all goes according to plan, the needle should start still, then begin to do move in either a circle or a line motion. That tells you if your first baby will be a girl or boy (hole shape for girl, stick shape for boy of course :P ). Then the first motion would stop and another motion starts: this is the second child; and so on. It’s highly scientific.

So my results gave one boy, and then one girl. They did it to Frank, too – even though he’s a guy – and he got the same results. So I guess that means we’ll still be together a while then. :D

They did it to people who had had their children already, too, to check if it worked, and it gave accurate results. So I guess we’re in for a little boy first.
