Flora

Frank’s been annoying me because I have yet to post his shovelling efforts online – after saying I would do so. So here is the new flowerbed he’s built. (I did help a little bit, mind you.)

Let me also mention that I have put up flowers in the other flowerbed in front of the house (after just 3 years). I should hope the property looks nicer now. (For curiosity purposes, the chosen flowers are perennials, notably purple coneflower, calliopsis, digitalis and red day lilies on the side of the house.)

Bienvenue Romane St-Louis!

I’m late in posting this, but our friend Geneviève finally gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Wednesday the 30th of August. If you’ll remember, her labour was induced tuesday morning… Sadly, her labour ended up in C-section the following morning at 3h45am. Fortunately, however, the baby is healthy (and a cutie) and mom is recovering. We went to visit them wednesday and thursday.

They named her Romane. She weighted 9 lbs 2 oz (they were expecting a 7 lbs baby), and was 21,5″ long. I took a picture of the baby, but will leave them the honour of posting a picture online first.
Congratulations to the new family!
