New theme! w00t!!

Well alright, the background image is the same, but that’s not the point. The layout and interface is all-new.

Like the last theme (NF Tree), FamiliaFlex is a flexible chameleon: I can just switch the background image and two or three colours in the CSS and the site looks entirely different, according to season or mood. This one pushes the idea even further with transparent backgrounds and a nifty footer. The code is cleaner, too, since I prepared this one from scratch, though I’ll admit I copy-pasted a lot of stuff.

Oh that reminds me: browser IE 6 and older will probably break all the transparency, so if you’re using that, UPGRADE already! Don’t do it for me, do it for yourself (and as a favour for all web designers world wide).

    Actually, if anyone is going to upgrade their browser, I should say go straight to Firefox. Do not pass Vista, do not shell out 200 bucks on anything of that ilk.

    But yeah… nice theme and stuff. Snazzy!

    Very pretty, but I had to scroll halfway down the page to see the actual post. The first half is just blank?

    Tal! I knew someone was missing in my buddy list. And [OH NO!] I don’t know what’s that weird bug you got. First, what browser are you using (so I can maybe re-enact the bug)? and next, do you see the flowers in the background, and are they halfway down the page too? This is sad. :(

    Simon: IE7 is actually pretty decently behaviored with the designs I do lately. And some of the layout bugs I’ve had to fix appeared in (gasp!) Firefox. But Firefox still rules, don’t worry. Flock is nice enough, too, despite the constant upgrades, but then again it runs on Mozilla like the fox.

    Woah! Super le nouveau site! J’adore! Et puis il y a des liens sur tout le reste du site alors pas besoin de faire “back”! Bravo! Belle évolution!
    Et puis c’est le fun que ton texte soit écrit en plus gros que les commentaires en haut… petit détail esthétique que j’aime bien.

    Ça serait le fun que les bordures ne soient pas pixelées, par contre… ou c’est juste sur mon ordi?
