4 cakes for 4 years

Xavier had parties (plural) last week, for this 4th birthday.

First on the 24th, at Frank’s parents’ place: Frank’s family held a home sushi dinner, and celebrated Frank’s and Xavier’s birthdays, which are in the same week.

Then on Wednesday the 28th — his actual birthday day — uncle Christian (my brother) with Joanie, and our neighbors came to share a cake.

Xavier’s birthday was also celebrated at daycare with cake, balloons and surprises.

And finally, his big birthday party with friends was the Saturday at Burger King, where 11 friends came to play with him and Orly — and eat a few chicken nuggets!

Thanks to all who celebrated with Xavier and us. He had a lot of fun (and was really spoiled! oof… Legos, misters Potato, Tag books, games, puzzles, etc.)

Congratulations to my Xavier!

Training wheels off

A storm of posts! Sorry.
I just want to celebrate Xavier’s new efforts in pedaling… on 2 wheels! Congrats to my ‘Zazoo’!

Xavier no.95: in pictures

I already said that Xavier took up baseball, but I didn’t have pictures. We have corrected this situation!

You can’t see on the pictures, but the back of his t-shirt states “Xavier 95″. Hehe!

Xavier numéro 95

Xavier had his first baseball session tonight! He really liked it — although we’ll have to explain the location of the 2nd and 3rd bases a little better! No matter, he was quite happy to run, hit the ball and (try to) catch it.

At registration, I was asked which number he’d like to wear. If it works out, he’ll be 95: the same as his hero, Lightning McQueen himself, haha!

No pictures today… another time, maybe!

Orly’s bedroom gets amazing light in the afternoon.

“That’s the last one, mommy, ok?”
What! But I love taking pictures of you…! Do you know why I like having pictures of you?

“Because you love me very much…”
That’s RIGHT!!

Aaahhh… there you go!

On fait le plein
