Setting up uncharted new territory in one's own home is really wonderful - which is sort of what we're doing just by getting rid of that darn babyfoot table. Furthermore, I LOVE how my living room looks with half-less toys. (We've moved the toys-bookcase downstairs this weekend, and kept only the popular toys in the small island shelves). Step one done, yes! Plus, we've found a scratch in the paint behind the bookcase we took out from the living room, so that's one more excuse to change that paint colour upstairs I'm itching to be rid of. But that's a whole other project... Fake trees are actually a favorite buy of mine. A tad pricey, so I can't indulge as much as I'd like, but I have 4 already, and my excuses (and space) to buy more are running out... so of course this space is the perfect excuse for it. Tal : Will try to get pictures throughout, especially of the playhouse project. Have I mentioned that we're nearly finished our own basement renos and can kick our kids to the lower level, leave 'em with a bottle of water and some soda crackers and retrieve them after the weekend's over? Man, we've been looking forward to that for a long time! Seriously, a proper play space with a second spawn on the way is the way to go. When we expand downstairs, I'm sure we'll come to think how in the heck we ever managed for the past two years with only the top floor as a living space. Fake tree!!
