I'm noticing it's a not a smiling problem, after all, but that François was not looking at the camera. The corrected picture is not online, apparently. The pic is from last year. Frank's mom has a nice camera, and she came to take a series of pictures of the three of us together so we could have a family pic to send out with the Christmas cards. We timed it for optimal Xavier mood, but the kid smiled on only one picture, and Frank did NOT smile on only one picture, and those two happened to be the same one. Merde. Now that it's been a year, though, I think I can let the secret out: I ended up Photoshoping Frank's smiling head in. Muahahah!
